Responsibilities

Contribute to the product direction and roadmap for backend trading systems.

Improve core systems like matching engine, risk engines, pricing models for derivatives products including but not limited to Futures, Margin, Options, Event Contracts etc. 

Work with the trading engineering teams to turn complex trading needs into technical solutions.

Participate in the product lifecycle from planning to release and ongoing/new feature launch.

Monitor backend performance and fix issues before they impact users.

Ensure systems comply with standards, regulations, and best practices.

Requuirements

Bachelors, Masters/PHD degree in Mathematics, Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or related quant fields.

Less than 5 years of experience (including internships), ideally in trading systems, backend product, fintech, quant, or platform roles.

Strong understanding of trading fundamentals such as order book mechanics, margin, leverage, liquidation, PnL, and risk management concepts.

Strong logical thinking and ability to work with complex mathematical models and system rules.

Comfortable working with data and technical teams; experience with SQL/Python/Excel is a strong plus.

Bilingual English/Mandarin is required to be able to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders.
