What We Are Looking For

Distyl is hiring a Senior Platform Product Manager in San Francisco or New York City to define and build the platform that powers how AI gets deployed inside enterprises.

This is not a role focused on incremental product improvements. You will be responsible for turning real-world customer problems into reusable AI systems, deciding what becomes platform, what remains bespoke, and how we scale both.

You’ll operate at the intersection of AI infrastructure, developer experience, and live enterprise deployments working closely with engineers, forward-deployed teams, and customers to shape what we build and why.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in ambiguity, has strong product instincts in AI-native environments, and wants to own a platform from first principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Define the vision, roadmap, and core abstractions for Distyl’s AI platform

• Decide what gets built into the platform vs. solved at the edge with customers

• Translate repeated enterprise patterns into scalable, reusable systems

• Partner deeply with engineering and forward-deployed teams to ship production-grade AI quickly

• Lead the development and prioritization of core platform capabilities, including:

  • Agent frameworks and orchestration systems

  • Model evaluation, monitoring, and feedback loops

  • Self-improving systems and human-in-the-loop workflows

  • Developer tooling, workflows, and internal DX

  • Enterprise data integrations and system interoperability

Who You Are

Required

• 10+ years in product, with deep experience in platform, infrastructure, or technical systems

• Have built or scaled AI/ML platforms, LLM systems, or developer-facing products

• Strong technical fluency, you can reason about architecture, tradeoffs, and system design with engineers

• Clear point of view on how AI-native systems should be designed and evolve

• Comfortable operating in ambiguity with high ownership and minimal structure

• Able to translate complex, real-world problems into clean abstractions

• The base salary range for this role is $180K – $250K, depending on experience, location, and level. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for meaningful equity, along with a comprehensive benefits package

Distyl has offices in San Francisco and New York. This role follows a hybrid collaboration model with 3+ days per week (Tuesday–Thursday) in‑office.
