About the Role at RobCo
At RobCo, we develop AI-powered robotic systems that make industrial processes more autonomous, efficient, and scalable. Our Autonomous Manufacturing Platform combines modular industrial hardware with physical AI, enabling rapid deployment and continuous optimization in real production environments.
With locations in Munich, San Francisco, and Austin, and backed by leading investors such as Lightspeed, Lingotto Innovation, and Sequoia, we are working to redefine industrial automation.
At RobCo, we automate the ordinary, so humans can do the extraordinary. To achieve this, we are looking for an ambitious Automation, IT Systems & Security Specialist (m/f/d) to help us establish RobCo as leading provider of automation solutions.
In this key role, you act as the architect and guardian of our internal IT infrastructure. Your focus is not on maintaining the status quo, but on building a highly secure, automated, and scalable system landscape. You eliminate manual effort through intelligent IT automation and ensure that our network and security architecture keeps pace with our global growth.
Your Responsibilities
Design and implementation of a secure, cloud-aligned IT and network landscape (e.g. AWS, Zero Trust principles)
Ensuring highest standards in Identity & Access Management (IAM), SSO, and secrets management
Protection of endpoints and continuous monitoring of system integrity across all teams
Identification and automation of repetitive IT processes (e.g. automated onboarding/offboarding, asset management)
Selection and integration of tools that connect and streamline internal workflows across Finance, HR, and Engineering
Active use of modern automation tools, including AI-supported solutions, to sustainably reduce manual support effort
Ownership of global device and lifecycle management, including rollout processes
Acting as a technical lead for complex first- and second-level support topics
Close collaboration with Engineering and Cloud teams on infrastructure, security, and automation topics
We're looking for someone who has:
Completed vocational training or a degree in Computer Science, IT Systems, Security or a comparable field
Several years of experience in system administration, network architecture, or IT security in cloud environments
Strong ownership mindset: you take responsibility, proactively identify gaps, and close them independently
A strong automation mindset: you are driven by the principle of not doing things twice manually and actively use scripting or tools to improve processes
Deep understanding of cloud architectures, modern identity models, and network security concepts
A structured and pragmatic working style, combined with a strong ownership mindset and focus on scalable systems
Very good English skills (German is a plus)

As part of a very dynamic and fast-growing scale-up, you will take on responsibility from day one, drive your own projects, and see the direct impact of your work.
Flat hierarchies, open communication, and regular 360° feedback enable fast decisions and support your professional and personal development.
Work out across Germany in over 7,200 studios with our subsidized Wellpass membership.
Flexible working hours, a modern office, and—depending on the role—the option to work from home.
Regular team events—from relaxed beer & pizza nights on the rooftop terrace to shared experiences on ski trips or at Oktoberfest.
