The first #web3tech meetup was held recently, and it was a resounding success. More than 60 tech enthusiasts, including those from web2 and web3 backgrounds, attended the event to discuss building in web3. Although there is uncertainty regarding the number of current web3 users globally and how that is measured (number of wallets?), there is no doubt that web3 technical leaders need to work together to onboard the next billion.

The meetup had a mix format, which included a fireside chat, small group breakouts, and informal networking. The energy and curiosity in the room were evident, and attendees were eager to learn from one another.

We would like to thank Searce, Google Developer Space, and our community partners for their support in making this event a success. We also extend our gratitude to each of the technical leaders who brought their unique talents and knowledge to the table.

Interestingly, this was Google Developer Space's first #web3 event, and we are honored to have been a part of it. We look forward to organizing more such events in the future and bringing together more talented individuals to collaborate and innovate in the web3 space.
