Backend Engineer (AI)

This is a full-time role for a Backend Engineer focused on the architecture and maintenance of high-performance systems. You will be responsible for designing and developing robust, scalable, and efficient backend services that support our 'Proof of Reality' mission. Daily responsibilities include writing clean, high-velocity code, collaborating with cross-functional research and engineering teams, and implementing software development best practices. You will also play a key role in optimizing existing codebases, troubleshooting production issues, and contributing to significant infrastructure improvements. Qualifications include proficiency in Backend Development, strong background in general Software Development, familiarity with Frontend Development, proficient in Python, Java, or similar, strong analytical skills, and education in Computer Science or related fields.
